Telehealth

Telehealth provides all our clients with the opportunity to connect with our practitioners no matter where they live. The Telehealth access process is simple and user friendly and all you need is a device with a camera, your email mailbox to receive our consultation link and a stable internet connection. We are now able to provide essential therapy consultations to customers all across QLD, including remote places where accessing therapists is difficult.

Our therapists are trained in online consultations and are able to provide exercise therapy, speech and diet consultations while you remain in the comfort of your own homes. Home exercise sheets with videos and pictures can be emailed to you so that you can continue with therapy on the days we are not actively consulting. Telehealth consultations are convenient for regional clients as they save expensive travel charges and allow you to maximise your fund usage for rehabilitation and support.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What equipment do I need at home to have a Telehealth consultation?

All you need is a device (computer, laptop, tablet or phone) with a camera and a stable internet connection. You will need to have access to your email or text messages in order to access the consultation video link.

2. Can I access telehealth services off I live outside of QLD?

Yes, if you are a non-NDIS client. As we are registered for NDIS only in QLD, we can currently provide telehealth consults to NDIS clients in QLD only. However, all non-NDIS clients may access our services from anywhere in Australia.

3. What services can I get via telehealth?

You can access physiotherapy, speech pathology, occupational therapy and dietician consults. Podiatry consultations require face to face contact time. Note that not all clients and consult types are telehealth suitable and it is at the discretion of the practitioner to decide if a client would benefit from a telehealth consultation.

4. Can I request a copy of my clinical notes if I do a telehealth consultation?

Yes all our clinicians make progress notes for your telehealth consultations and a copy of these can be provided to you as and when required.
