We understand the skill set required to meet the needs of the growing community and aged care sectors and treat a wide variety of conditions. Currently operating in SE QLD, we are fast expanding our service radius and hope to bring our services to the doorsteps’ of many more in the community. Physiotherapy
Ritco’s physiotherapist’s are highly skilled professionals. They treat people with a wide variety of disabilities and provide essential rehabilitation to all age groups from children to the elderly. Some of our physiotherapy services include:
- Hydrotherapy with pool safety assessments
- Therapeutic Massage including oedema management, soft and deep tissue techniques
- Contracture management for treatment of cerebral palsy related joint and muscle stiffness
- Exercise rehabilitation for muscle strengthening, cardiorespiratory fitness and muscle function optimisation
- Functional movement training to increase independence with activities of daily living
- Fall prevention and management

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists are holistic practitioners that play a key role in maximising your environmental safety and help to build your capacity to live independently. Ritco’s OTs provide a range of assessments and therapeutic services as listed below:
- Comprehensive functional assessments and reports to identify your capacity building and safety needs
- Seating assessments – including powered and non-powered wheelchairs, cushions, custom made wheelchairs
- Bathroom assessments and modifications – ramps, rails, shower chairs and safety mats
- Home Modifications – ramps for wheelchair access, bathroom re-structure and re-design
- Bed and Mattress assessments for standard and electric powered beds, rail installation and other bedroom aids
- Upper limb rehabilitation post-stroke
- Manual handling training to prevent staff workplace injuries and reduce employer’s WorkCover Insurance claims

Podiatry
We all need a good Podiatrist to keep our feet in good shape! Ritco’s Pods are friendly professionals with a passion for their chosen profession and work with clients to keep their feet healthy

Speech Pathology
You can trust our Speechies to take care of your swallowing, speaking and communication needs. Ritco’s Speech Pathologists are trained to engage with client’s wishing to improve their oral skills. Some of their services include:
- Swallowing assessments to improve swallow ability, comfort and safety
- Communication assessments including assistive technology reports to aid in communication verbally and non-verbally
- Ongoing speech therapy to improve word formation, pronounciation, expressive communication
Dietetics
Dietitians are an important piece of the care spectrum and enable our clients to maximise their nutritional intake to maintain energy levels required to engage in an independent and rewarding life. Our Dietitians go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure that you are eating the best you can!
