Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do your physios bring their own equipment?

Yes, all our physios are provided with portable rehabilitation equipment to enable them to perform their work to a high standard. Our equipment enables them to administer weight training, balance rehabilitation, aerobic training and provide essential pain management through clinical massage therapy.

2. What if I want to have a rehab session at a local gym?

We are more than happy to accommodate your location requests. As a 100% mobile provider, we can provide you with a physiotherapy session at your favourite gym, hydrotherapy pool or even an outdoor session at a park. We do have to perform an environmental safety assessment prior to commencing training at a gym, pool or outdoor to ensure that you will be safe during the session and there are no potential environmental or other hazards.

3. How do your physio’s source hydrotherapy pools?

If you have contracted our services for the provision of a hydrotherapy program, we would initially try and locate a pool closest to your primary place of residence. However, we do have to ensure that the pool has the correct ramp and rail access as well as provisions for wheelchairs and hoists where applicable. Due to this, we ultimately will recommend a pool that is safer rather than close. A pool safety assessment is done by the poolside by the therapist prior to entering the pool.

4. What qualifications do your physiotherapists have?

All our physiotherapists are required to have a minimum of an Australian recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. We also conduct police checks prior to their commencement with us.

5. What are your physiotherapy session durations?

As a mobile provider, we believe that a 1-hour session duration per session is an optimum requirement to holistically treat clients. However, we do attend 45 minute and 30-minute consultations where necessary.

6. Can your physio’s draft exercise programs for my carers to implement?

Yes. All our therapists are equipped with exercise prescription software which enables them to prescribe, draft and email detailed exercise programs to our clients and/or their carers. Please bear in mind that Physiotherapist’s are highly skilled professionals and it is not always safe for them to handover all exercises to a carer. Some exercises must be done under the supervision and guidance of a physiotherapist due to clinical safety concerns and as such, we will not hand over these exercises to carers. Where reasonable and safe, basic maintenance exercises to be implemented by carers will be handed over and monitored.
